a trip at the Bethanien / repetition
During the artist residency, in the Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien, I found traces of my previous work in Bethanien, which led me to reflect on the history of the Bethanien building. During this process, part of the 100-year-old ceiling of the studio I was staying in collapsed. 100 years, repetitions and history. Following these traces, I wanted to make a monumental sculpture referring to these repetitions. This sculpture turned into an installation of sounds I collected from Bethanien.
