In this art work, the artist works on reconsidering and understanding what it is to be human and wants to remind the fact that the human instincts that have been lost are relevant and close to being human. Focusing on human’s “animal instincts” weakens the central human position and opens the doors to new ways of existing. The gaze politics is involved here. Changing human way of looking at things changes the politics of the way we look at the world. Rediscovering the lost wild instincts through the body, this project focuses on the throat, which is a part of our body that our animal instincts show themselves openly instead of hiding.
