what I am

what I am, installation, 2022

In the installation titled “What I am”, I am working on reconsidering and understanding what it is to be human and I want to remind the fact that the human instincts that we have lost are relevant and close to being human. Focusing on human’s “animal instincts” weakens the central human position and opens the doors to new ways of existing. The gaze politics is involved here. Changing human way of looking at things changes the politics of the way we look at the world. In “What I am”, I want to make the audience think on the construction of humanness.
