S’nek is a sound-artwork. Audio composition is based on a poem written and voiced by the artist. This work was realized together with Ege Kanar. The piece was produced for the mixtape “Cassette Fanzine, The Spirit of Time / Kaset Fanzin: Zamanın Ruhu” compiled by Emirhan Esenkova. Kaset Fanzin records deformation, rustle and nostalgia. The poem “S’nek”, performatively constructed, transforms into sound and because it is on a cassette it turns into a commodity that can work the space back and forward. Besides participating in the “Kaset fanzin” project as an artist, Eldek also designed the cover and the cassette’s booklet.
